In the early 1900's, a child went missing in the deep dark woods of the Woodland Hills park in Wisconsin. An extensive investigation was conducted in order to recover the child's body, but to this day what happened to him remains a mystery.

The Tarziac is the demon spawn of the Deep Dark Woods in Madison, WI. It takes back the life that has been taken from the forest from which it spawned. The beast preys on children. It takes them from their bedroom to his liar in the heart of the forest, beneath an old buck-thorn that has stood for over a century. There it feasts on the child, and gives back to the forest what the child took for granted.

The inexplicable fact about the Deep Dark Woods is that when night falls, the boundaries of the forest disappear and it becomes larger than it is in reality. We didn't find that out until we worked up the courage to stay in there until nightfall. On our way out of the woods, just twenty feet off the path, were two daunting yellow eyes sitting in the silhouette of a seven foot tall beast. We didn't stay long enough to see what it was.

This is a painting of the nightmare that occurs. The symbol is a hieroglyphic of Hell that swarms the mind of the victim until the Tarziac takes them to its liar.

Wonderfully details, and very eerie - love it! I really like how you're showing the transition between the waking world and the world of nightmares here - the transformation of the location from the bedroom to the woods. Very well done!

Excellent job here, Liquidose! Keep up the great work! :D

Thanks, I spent a lot of time on it, particularly in small details that put together a story. If you zoom in theres a lot to see.
